Excellent cleanliness for this kind of price. A bit noisy in the morning due to sports activities at YMCA. However, the location is not ideal, no shopping areas around it. Have to take cab (driver charge RM10 just to go to KOMTAR) to go around.

inconvenient transportation, only can take cab or walk to the hotel.No public bus can reach.

Centralized location in the Eastern part of Penang. Just 15 minutes away from the central (Komtar) and 5 minutes away from bus stop that goes to Batu Ferringi Beach.

For a price that cheap, it beats the comfort, cleanliness, location,(Public buses & taxis easily available), efficiency of staff,(so cheerful, helpful, & kind), "special offers",(surprised to be offered breakfast) : of many hotels with much higher prices. My stay with my 3 other friends was full of praises for this hotel........... and I surely and highly recommend it for budget travellers.

The room is noisy as there is only thin windows and wall with no insulation, I hear cars pass by and people talking all night. The air-condition are old and noisy too. YMCA isout of nowhere, you need a taxi to go out. Breakfast is very simple. There are other guest houses cheaper and more conveniently located.
