This hotel was in a great location and on the website the rooms looked lovely, however we checked into a standard bungalow although the rooms were fairly clean there was a constant fear that there were insects hidden out of site. the rooms were in despearte need of a revamp.

Excellent restaurant and massage & treatment facilities. I was pleased to be upgraded for free to a standard bungalow from a standard hotel room but would recommend staying in one of the more expensive options. The standard bungalows were pretty dark and basic. Apparently the superior bungalows are basic but more nicely decorated. World Resort was safe and friendly for lone female travellers and families but perhaps not in the best place on the beach for sunbathers as there was only sun in the morning.

Everything at the stay was fine, except a HUGE matter - the construction of a massive 250 room (!) deluxe hotel right next door! Non-stop construction - everyday.

Very dissappointed that the bar closed very early each night.
