A very good value for money hotel. Pity! it is located inbetween the BTS rail but taxi is also convenient if you can get one to go by the meter rather than a fixed exhorbitant price.

Reception was warm and friendly and very accomodating. Though I normally enjoy stay in smaller hotels, it was a pleasant experience al in al! The pool on the 14th flor is excellent and though warm it had a nice breeze! Its alos a pleasure to discover that the hotel was a short walk away from the sky train station as well as the subway, so I still felt very much connected to the rest of Bangkok by their presence. Checking out went as effiient as checking in and the porters were very helpfull when leaving the hotel again. So al in all I was pleasantly surprised with my stay!!

Although we got a room upgrade we were very disappointed. The room was dirty, full of long black hairs and the corridor reeked of cigarette smoke, surely non-smoking floors are possible.We checked out after 1 night to a much nicer hotel next door.

When I stayed at the Windsor Suites Hotel a few years ago I had a room at the main wing which was perfect. The price at that time was THB 1700.00. This time I paid THB 2800.00 and received a room at the neighboring building. The lobby looks ok, but as soon as you enter the elevator you already can assume what to expect when you get to the room. The rooms are very poorly equipped and old. There is just one Movie Channel with an unclear picture. The bathroom is very small. I asked for a large bed and received two very small single beds.
For this price you can get much better offers in Bangkok. I have been to more than 100 different hotels in Bangkok in the past 30 years and will definitely not go to the Windsor Suites again.
One positive Remark: The breakfast offers a vast variety of different foods and would fullfil the expectations.

Exellent hotel. Very friendly staff. When we relised we had left a piece of jewellery at the last Hotel they put them selves out to contact them for us.
