If you pay to stay here, insist that you be given a choice of rooms AND buildings. Presumably the front building (or at least the one immediately behind the lobby/reception - with rooms on 2 or levels, either side of the central walkway) is much more recently rennovated than those in the rear building. It is all a bit run-down, but has a nice relaxed - some would say shabby - feel. Probably there is much better value in other hotels in this area.

Rooms were clean but low water pressure in shower, ants in the room, balcony furniture broken down, black mold in balcony corners, bath towels were rags and the breakfast buffet was usually cold.

Without doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I ended up paying for 8 nights though I only stayed 5 nights as planned and booked. After my first night I asked to be given a better room. Finally for nights 3, 4, and 5 I was given a slightly better and cleaner room but had to pay the full walk-in price, having already fully paid in advance for the first room. No allowance was given.
I would strongly suggest that this establishment be removed from your service as it does not reflect the excellent standards of service, hygiene & cleanliness which I and most travellers have experienced throughout Thailand.
