We were very disappointed in the Unico Leela Hotel. The lobby is beautiful but that appears to be the only area of the hotel that has ben updated. The room we were given was nothing like the rooms they show on their website; it had no windows at all, the carpet was brown and dirty (including cigarette and iron burns), the walls were filthy, and there were additional cigarette burns on the tables and chairs. The staff at the hotel do not speak very good English which is shlightly odd for Bangkok and they seemed put out by the fact that guests were checking in. Additionally, we were kept up for a majority of the evening by a sexpat and his "lady-friend" for the majority of the night complete with barking and howling...I wish I were kidding. I noticed a number of western men with Thai women at this hotel so be forewarned. I would definitely not stay at this hotel during my next trip to Thailand and would not recommend it to any travelers.

The room need to be upgraded. There was not a window at the room.
I lost something under the bed, and when i look after, there was a lot of shit under the bed....
