this is a good value for money hotel, if you both want city and beach it is superb, you have to cross a little road to get to the beach but it is ok. There is a good coffeeshop across the road and my children loved the little light cat there was walking around the hotel. There is a little to much noise at this hotel and that is the only minus..!!

Tropical Garden Resort is an nice hotel in a quiet corner of Phuket. The rooms are nice and clean, and we had a fantastic sea view. I am not sure if all rooms have the same nice view. The only drawback I can come on is that you must cross a road to reach the beach. I will recommend a stay on this hotel!

Nice location, friendly staff, great pools. The breakfast was pretty good also. The only down side was the room could use a little updating. The room was however rather large with a good view of the beach.

We had visited Tropical Garden also before 5 years ago. The hotel is a bit worn down now, but is it still a nice place to stay. The view from the sea view room is amazing! Pools are ok. We would recommend if you are not afraid to climb a lot of stairs to get a great view. Location is also good.

We loved the hotel! Only thing missing are a fan in the room together with A/C. Air in room got very moisty when turning off A/C. But very satisfied.

The hotel was located at the small hill with excellent views to Kata Beach. As others warned already there was a bit of hurdle to climb up to the top floor (lots of stairs) - but the view was worth it!

Very good value hotel. Many steps for disabeld or children. But perfekt for us. Very clean and nice furnished rooms. Great view over kata beach bay. Do absolutely rekommend people to stay here!

Very good value for the money. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Nice view and good pool areas. On the negative side: all the steps, especially when carrying a baby around But well worth anyway! Also housekeeping was very late and room wasn´t cleaned until after 2pm some of the days. I would still recommend this hotel and if I´d ever go back to Phuket (doubt it) I would definitely stay here again.
