Lovely design of rooms and very friendly, service minded staff. A bit boring surroundings but as well close to beach. Simple breakfast. Would choose this hotel again.

Hotel is very nice, staff helpful, rooms fantastic. The hotel is not on the beach and would be better if it had some chairs reserved at the beach for guests.

Hotel was new and clean - no view - location in Bangtao was reasonable but quite a walk to the beach . Breakfast items were very limited but there was an egg station . Staff were not very conversant in English and not very helpful .
Lift and telephone services broke down during our stay - apology for telephone but then said it was ok but in fact it was not - no apology for lift breakdown though we had to walk up 4 floors !

i left within 5min of walking into the hotel, decided that forfeiting the amount paid sucked but would still be better than ruining my entire holiday.. the lift smells disgusting, the hotel room is clean and modern, but has very unfresh smell.. i dont mind non-fancy, but at least with some quaint charm. this has NO charm/personality whatsoever.. the pool looks like a pond. the location is terrible. i dont see the beach anywhere, and to get there one has to walk ages..

A very relaxing and pleasant place to stay. Just a gentle stroll to the beach and set back from the not too busy main road.Definitely would recommend.
One small detail, there are no drawers at all in the standard rooms to put all the bits and pieces and small items of clothing, so everything apart from shirts, trousers & dresses is left on shelves, desk etc.

The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms and bathroom are generously proportioned and is very good value for money. Perhaps because it was low season there were so few people around and the rooftop bar & f&b facility was completely empty.It seems a little bit out of the way but a great find if you have a motorbike or just use the taxi stand opposite.

the Kris Hotel is AMAZING! the rooms are super big and confortable, very modern, great service, amazing restaurant on the roof top, 3 great pools, good restaurant on the main floor. REALLY good stay!
