Hotel was good but the air conditioner was not working well. It was leaking despite the mechanic coming to repair it. It continued to leak for the rest of the stay.

I was very impressed with the size of the room I had at the Gurney...It was larger than I was expecting. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful which was great as I was travelling alone.

We had a 2 bedroom suite which had stunning views over the bay. The suite has a small kitchen with a refrigerator and if you are staying more than a couple of days there is a washing machine, with a clothes line over the bath tub. The only problem we had was that we were travelling with 2 teenagers, a boy and a girl and the hotel only provided 2 double beds. We had to pay for a fold out bed.

Value for money with the facilities available. All the staff was very polite and helpful except the receptionist who attended me. But luckily still got another receptionist to help up.

Except for location, there is no other plus point for this hotel. The room size is ok, but is high time for renovation. Our toilet smells weird. Blanket looks so old and the set up of the room is not at all professional. The food is ok, but there is much more room for improvement. My check out experience was the worst. I requested for extra bed during check in, however, there was no more extra bed in the hotel, HOWEVER, during check out, they charged it to my bill. Luckily I check it, if not I might have wasted my money.
