Nice hotel, but what made it great was the personalised service. The staff remembered both our names and were informative and attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return because of the good service. We had a fantastic time!

It was a nice stay which I really enjoyed, however they posted on their web site they are excluding rooms under refurbishment from guests to gurentee guests are not annoyed by noise but I spend few days with noisy work being done below, such as drilling. This annoyed me alot.

The Datai lived up to its reputation as one of the best hotels in Southeast Asia. Staff a friendly, courteous and attentive; rooms are wonderful and facilities excellent.

Excellent run hotel in a fantastic location and with outstanding service. However I think the deluxe rooms do not justify the price as they do miss an atmosphere of privacy and the sound insulation is poor. It is of much better value to book a villa, what I definitely I will do next time.
