The Andaman experience was a GREAT one. The folks there are really helpful and friendly. They have a lot of initiative too. It is a very child friendly place. The whole family felt very welcomed.

Hotel room condition is good and comfortable. With the garden view, it makes you feel like you are in natural rainforest. Can enjoy great privacy, esp at the beach, which is not easily accessed by public. But some of the facilities are chargeable.

The setting is superb, esp, the pool, where one can practically stay the whole day there.

The 5 star title really meant for the hospitality provided by the hotel. We really enjoy our stay and planned to return to the same hotel again in the future

Very very surprised that it is not part of the LHW network ??? This hotel is SUPER and we were very pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality of decorations (simple yet elegant), and the services provided by hotel staff is truly world-class !!! Please could you make a recommendation for the hotel to be reviewed again to be included in LHW ? It is quite a shame to our opinion.

We arrived late at night and went straight to bed. The room had a horrible smell of chemicals and the sheets were damp - no doubt from the humidity. The cot for our baby son was not in the room even though we had specified one at the time of booking so we had to wait up even later for that to arrive. I had to eventually get up and put my clothes on and get a towel from the bathroom to sleep on cause the bed was so damp and thus cold AND I had to turn up the heating to ensure the soft furnishings dried out somewhat oevrnight. We complained the next day and the sheets were duly changed - but it did spoil our first impressions. I also felt that the ceramic containers in the bathroom that were topped up each day with shampoo etc. contained cheaper brands than the toiletries issued at the sister hotel next door i.e. The Datai (they got Molten Brown toiletries!). The staff were ery helpful and courteous though and the pool was lovely. The restaurants were fantastic as were the beaches - long, unspoilt and idyllic. The wildlife - although a bit noisy - was amazing. I would go back to this hotel but I do not think it was worth the money we paid and I would be looking for a cheaper deal next time - nearing in mind it took us two flights and all dy to get there from the Philippines.

Excvellent hotels with the rainforest and sandy beach, the subtle architecture quietly mingles with the surroundings. Excellent service, wonderful staff, the hotel also allowed us a late check out of their own accord. Wonderfiul pool for the kids and great food - however the location is far out, pls rent a car to fully enjoy Langkawi and to avoid paying astronomical prices for food within the hotel for all meals. We had heard a lot about Gulai House, but that was a bit if a disappointment, definitely visit Bon Ton "Nam" restaurant in Tengah whilst in Langkawi.
