Location is great, indeed a beachfront hotel. However, the spa setting is dismal and charges premium, considering that you can get massage services at 1/4 of the price just outside the resort.

We stayed in a villa with sea view. It was spacious and very comfortable, being just a few metres from the restaurant, pool and beach. Everywhere was spotless and the gardens a delight. A 20 minute walk took us into Lamai either along the beach or on the road. Our only crib was the breakfast service. Perhaps because we visited in the low season there was a limited menu, which became repetitive. Communication with the restaurant staff was troublesome, but we are to blame also for our poor use of Thai ! Earlier reviews had warned us off eating dinner in the reastaurant and so we dined out in the evening. To summarise, we really enjoyed our stay there and will perhaps return one day.
