Thai Beach House was fantastic. Set in a beautiful location right on Lamai beach. My husband and I recently stayed there for one week (which was not long enough). We stayed in a beachside villa which faced the pool with a nice view of the beach from our veranda. The room was spacious and clean and well worth the extra money. The staff were absolutely fantastic and although it is slightly more expensive for food and drinks in the hotel compared to ouside that is normal and only to be expected and still not expensive compared to Australia. Would recommend a thai massage from the staff at the hotel - which is a nice way to pass an hour or so. I read a few negative reviews on your website prior to my stay and honestly do not know what those people were looking for as I could not find fault with this hotel.

A GOOD HOTEL, BUT A LITTLE EXPENSIVE COMPARED WITH OTHERS IN THE AREA. GOOD LOCATION, ON THE BEACH

Thai Beach House was a nice hotel. We stayed on our beach for most of our stay. We did not end up liking Koh Samui - at least the Lamia / Chewang side of it. If you are familiar with Florida in the U.S., it was like the Panama City of Thailand in our opinion. If we go back, we will try a different part of the island.

We stayed at this hotel for four days and were pleasantly surprised by how great value for money this hotel is compared to other more expensive ones in Koh Samui. When we arrived, after taking a look at the deluxe and family deluxe rooms, we decided to upgrade to the latter as it was much bigger (actually had one double bed + single bed) and had a bath instead of a shower. The room was very well decorated, very cosy and much nicer than we expected for a three-star hotel. The pool though small was beautiful with a jacuzzi, palm trees and nice landscaping around. The restaurant was also close by so we could have breakfast, quite adequate, by the sea which was nice. As we were there at the beginning of September, it was not crowded at all and we really enjoyed our stay. Last, the hotel staff were very nice, friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are thinking of staying in Lamai Beach.
