This stay make us felt sad and irritating. We will not stay in this hotel in the future. The services provided to Asians face are damn poor! Some staffs even working with a rude attitude, no greeting no smile, only look for tips! They show respectto western contry visitors only. For us and anoher pair of Japanese couple are totally being ignored! The facilities also limited and not in good condition. Totally waste my money and ruined my holiday mood!

nice hotel with friendly service staff and quiet as well (no street noise). Many amenities like free wifi and DVD loan (extensive library. The breakfast buffet was good as well. On the downside, the in-room wifi signal was too weak to use so had to go to the rec room with my laptop. Also, the TV channel variety was limited but the DVD player makes up for that to some degree. The beech is close by, 5 minutes, and there is a good pool too. Overeall a good experience.

I pretty enjoyed my stay at the Sugar Palm Resort: location is great, just 2 minutes from Kata beach, but not facing the main and noisy road. Rooms are spotless, well furnished and with all facilities. Staff was always smiling and helpfull.

We had fairly good experience of out stay until the last day. We called to ask for an alarm clock and taxt transportation at 12am and 12:30 to catch a red-eye flight. However, nothing showed up (no call and taxi) until we realized we were almost 30 min late!!
We were very angry about that, but glad that we finally made it and caught the

Hotel location was very good, 2 minute walk to Kata beach and very close to restraunts and shops. Hotel services were good, offering free internet during our stay.

Nice rooms, great shower, close to a beautiful beach, but not very service oriented. One example: I needed a dentist on saturday, they could not phone or find out a number to phone for getting information on opening hours.
