The hotel is centrally located along Beach Road with easy access to both Beach Road and 2nd Road. Shopping centres such as Royal Plaza and Mike Shopping Mall are in easy walking distance. Other attractions such as Walking Street or Big C are just a Baht Bus ride away (10 Baht). The hotel is clean and the view from the Deluxe Seaview room is directly out over the bay and the parasailing. The rooms were clean although the hand rail in the bathtub made showering a little difficult. I still bear the large bruise gained from slipping sideways on the mat provided for the bath-shower and whacking upper shin on the side of the bath. That was the only downside (should have been more careful). The food in the coffee-shop for breakfast was adequate and could not be faulted although the Siam Hotels should invest in packaged butter rather than the rolls on ice. For the second time I have seen a woman taking butter from the bowl with her fingers (quite unhygenic).
I can highly recommend this hotel.

First time that i am not happy with Asia Web Direct, because the hotel charged a higher price than mentionned on the web. It is not fair at all.

This is a wonderful hotel situated between Beach Road and Second Road. It is conveniently close to the beach and bus routes plus many good restaurants, shopping centers, and bars. The two pools are excellent although finding a free deck chair mid day can be difficult. Every single staff person has always been polite and friendly on my 5 previous stays. Expensive but worth it.
