The Sheraton Langkawi is a nice place to stay in with chalet-style accomodation, but is a bit old and interior of rooms may need some renovations.

My wife and I had previously stayed at the Sheraton many years ago and whilst it was good at that time it was a little tired. The renovation and upgrade carried out at the resort is absolutely first class and this hotel now compares with any we have stayed in around the world. It's just a shame there is not a larger beach area.

We were twice in your hotel. Once my husband, our boy and I and second time my boy and I were alone. We loved it both times. Rooms are very good and the beach and swiming pool are great. Services are very good and staff is quite kind. We also loved the monkeys that visited us. We found the service in the resurants a bit slow.

1. The hotel is in the middle of the jungle, expect lizards around and might be in your room.
2. The internet is expensive (60 RM/DAY).
3. Sometimes you have to wait long time in order for the shuttle pick you from your room to the lobby.
4. Nice view from the room, however, you may not prefer to sit on the balacony because it is full of lizards and bugs.
5. I don`t think that I would stay in the hotel again.

The price charged to access e-mail from your room is so ridiculous is beyond the contemplation of any sane person.
The Fitness room is very well fitted out; however the sauna lacks ramped benching and the pipes in the jacuzzi require cleaning. I found the lack of a steam room and caldarium surprising; they require to construct a traditional Turkish Hamam.

Good hotel. We had a great time. The breakfasts were absolutely sumptious. However the rooms tend to be a bit dark. and for a price of more than $300 per night I do not expect to have to pay over $20 for internet services per 24 hours.
