Good hotel but we were not informed that the pool was under contruction and not available. The tried to send us to the nearby Holiday-inn pool, which we did not accept, then the offered the pool of the Krungthep wing.

Excellent Five Start Hotel, everything was top class. The attention to detail and our every need was top class - Certainly recommend enjoying this Hotel.

A very good value top class hotel. Only reservation was that food and beverages in the hotel were perhaps a little highly priced compared to the rooms themselves.

As the completion of the Thai trip of eight days, I stayed for 2 days.
The room of Krungthep Wing has an exclusive balcony, and the view of Chao Phraya River from here is the thing which is splendid in a superb view.
In addition, all the soft drinks of the room are free of charge, and, including very delicious breakfast of the order system, there is a swimming pool for exclusive use of the hotel guest other than canapes all no charge in an afternoon tea, evening while I hear the sound of the river at Riverside restaurant, and the hotel guest of the Shangri-La wing can taste the sense of superiority that there is not.
In addition, a hotel guest was different from a tour visitor of the Shangri-La wing in the class of visitors, too and felt it as there was comparatively much one with status in its own way, and having been. （There was the noisy visitor with children inside, but the Asian without the common sense was a wing with the own luxurious atmosphere that there was comparatively few it, and was settled down to a feeling, an emergency.）
In addition, I used the spa of the hotel for around 3 hours, but it was a splendid thing of high quality.
The rate can be never said to be cheap, but do not betray the expectation of the visitor;, as is expected, felt it with the service of the first-rate hotel and a hotel with the personality.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, stayed in the Krungthep wing, super room and decor to die for. Everything in the bathroom you could possibly need right down to nail clippers and emery boards (ladies will love it), very helpful staff, nothing too much trouble, facilities and service excellent. Not cheap but definitely worth the extra and would without doubt stay there again ~ would highly recommend this hotel.
