The First House is a very cozy and clean hotel. It is located within walking distance of the beach, I would say it would be less than a one minute walk. The staff was helpful, breakfast was good and I had lunch there, which was delicious. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay when they travel to Koh Samui.

Moderately priced,safe,good location,closer to the main town,tour prices economical Hotel.Enjoyed our stay.Recommend for people moderately budget travellers.

THe hotel is nicely located on chaweng...Although you probably not gonna spend much time in the rooms, Imust admit I was very disappointed with the selection of TV channels...One of the poorest I have encountered in any country I have visited...The room was just ok but the view was dreadful...I had a wall literally one meter away from my window...Receptionists were ok but seem to juggle with a few things at a time and I was never really sure if they were or not listening to me...No safes in room!!! Porters were friendly and so was security...The restaurant was completely empty when I went for dinner, and the food is not the best in town...with new hotels being built I know you can find better value for your money...

Hotel location was ideal if you dont want to be central. It was nice and peaceful with its own beach. Only a 2 min short walk onto Chaweng beach where you can have a pleasant stroll to the main shops. The rooms were basic but nice looking onto the swimming pool. Did not have hot water for the duration of the holiday even after we complained. Staff were friendly from start to finish. Other then the lack of hot water a pleasant stay would consider staying again

No hot water in our room, was fixed a number of times only to go cold again. We got the option to change rooms. Our new room was on the next floor up but nobody helped move all our things.

Disappointed by the very small room with two single beds instead of one double, and the reception staff didn't care when we said our disappointment.
A mini-room in the roof, no lift, happily we hadn't booked for more than one night.
