Staff were very friendly and helpful. Family with small children were made very welcome. Pool area and children had many pool toys and other toys available for them.

Hotel is generally good in an idyllic location on 4 kilometres of totally unspoilt beach. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing with Khao Lak no more than a 15/20 minutes drive away for night entertainment, restaurants etc.
Downsides are twofold:
a) Far too few sun loungers available. To get one on the beach you have to seize it by 7:15 latest. Spoke to the General Manager about this during our stay who assured us that the problem was already known and additional beds were already on order. If not then this situation is unacceptable for a 4,000 Baht per night hotel.
b) Food and drink prices in the hotel are high - even for a hotel - and food not particularly special. You are well advised to look elsewhere for eating and drinking or suffer a badly bruised wallet!!!

This is an ideal location if you want wide white-sand beaches and palm trees. You can walk the oceanfront for half a mile in either direction and not see another building or person. Accommodations and meals are good, but not
luxurious. The large swimming pool is quite lovely. Staff try to be very helpful, but many are new and need further training. Most rooms are a long walk from the beach and pool.
