We choose this resort bc it was South of Patong (close to the city) with cheap prices... for what we paid we should have expected the hotels appearance. The rooms were clean on the surface but there were ants everywhere. The pool was not as nice and clean as the pictures made it out to be. The Kids Club was very nice and all the staff was great... very accomodating but the hotel could use a face lift and some upgrades. The beds were hard but the adventure room was cool for the kids.

Nice hotel, but the location is more suitable for those looking at staying put. Travel to Pathong is required for shopping or some variety on the food as the hotel has only 1 restaurant.

The hotel was very child friendly and a great kids play room. It does need fans or airconditioning in the kids room however. Staff were lovely and rooms were clean. One thing is we hated was the lounges made out of conrete. Very uncomforable. Apart from that our stay was really nice.

Poor breakfast choice. Location for the beach is very poor. You need to cross a busy road on a bend. No pedestrian crossing available. Then you need to cross a dike. The bridge is a wooden plank… The beach was ok once you got there….. plenty of tuk tuk taxis at the door. A few bars and several restaurants within 10 mins walk. Good internet facilities - free ! The activities that it boast about are for toddlers, not kids !!

It is very deserted and there are no shops or basic shopping areas around. Very expensive to get around from the hotel.

Great set-up for younger kids. Nice western style breakfast, and place to eat some meals. Glad we went in off season. Enjoyed live music in the evening in Joe Kools with supper. Short walk to town for some variety in eating choices. Rooms were comfortable. The were prepared with extra bed in our room and had adjoining room ready for our other 2 older kids. I would go and stay again!

Our sons enjoy their stay at the underwater room. The fish tanks will a bit noisy so I have to plug the power at night to stop the filter from running. The PS2 and games are not working fine which they will a bit disappointed. The kids club is great. Karon beach is kind of quiet, so we prefer to go to Patong beach for our shopping trip. Travelling there with tuk tuk is a fun ride for the kids too. Overall a good stay.

Hotel is rated as 4* but is more a 3*. We were in room 5203/4 "Space adventure", the shower room was filthy despite housekeeping coming up to clean for 20 mins. We were moved to a "Princess" room which was much cleaner. Overall impression - an old and tired looking hotel.
