We were welcomed by a cockroach in the toilet running along the toilet seat. The bedsheets had some stains. The lobby smelt musty. We had much difficulty adjusting the scalding shower to a temperature we can accept. The aircon was screeching the whole night. And MORE IMPORTANTLY, on the next morning, we opened our door (which was facing the lift lobby) preparing to go for breakfast and saw NINE of the hotel staff smoking their hearts out together. The whole area was filled with smoke and we have to bear with it until the super slow lift arrives. What a way to start a day!
