Gem of a hotel! Just wonderful - unique and elegant from the moment you step inside this little oasis (quite a surprise from the street actually!). We arrived at 11.30pm and requested a dvd player (normally part of package for suites only), reqeust was meet with a smile and a technician was setting the player up for us within 20 minutes.
Decore is just beautiful....really a lot of thought and effort has gone into every aspect of detail...even on my third day i was noticing the tiny little additional touches that suggest that this is no ordinary hotel.
Didnt eat breakfast...slept in too late each day....amyeb beds too comfy!!!
Tuk tuk very convenient into town....staff also go out of there way to help and willing to customise a bit (not really what you come to expect).
Also small touches that other hotels should catch on to that cost very little to the hotel, such as free wireless. Shortsightedness of most hoteliers in Thailand charging for wi-fi by the hour makes being given a connection for free a delightful suprise! Just the little things...actually this is exactly why this hotel is so special.
Also excellent value for money when you compare similar standard of service (yet to find better actually) and accommodation in thailand. Generally pay a lot more and get a lot less.
Most definately will return!
PS. dont loose your key - will cost you 5,000 THB!
