The hotel is about 15min from the pier. The rooms were ok, allthough not very clean (fridge was really dirty). We asked several times to clean it, they never did.
There were cats all around and if you let open the door, they would come in straight away.
I would not recommend that hotel. Certainly not for that price.

All in all a fair price to stay in a fair place. The rooms were clean. The a/c worked and it needed to! It was 104 degrees while we were there! The walk past the "poo" plant and the garbage "facilities" was not that pleasant. But hey the price was right, and I felt better being up a little higher thAN beach level.
The only really crazy thing- we woke up at 7am one day jump onto wifi (hotel has :) on my iPhone and OMG a tsunami warning level 3 had just been lifted for phi phi. I ran to the front desk and showed her the site. She nervously laughed and said. "oh no worry. It is okay now". I found out later that it was the first level 3 warning since the big one hit. And no one even bothered to wake us up! Later I asked others staying in different places around phi phi. Nobody got the wakeup call. My advice: stay up high. You never know!
And if u need a cheap place this one works just fine.

New owners (thai+farangs, lovely people), totally refreshed small resort of very spacious bungallows, close to the beach but extremely quiet, one of the best places i stayed in southern islands. See you next year ;)

We booked this hotel the day before we arrived at Phi Phi so price and availability made us choose this hotel. It is not situated in the centre but on the other hand - maybe a good thing due to all the partying on Phi Phi. The hotel is very simple but ok. We only stayed for one night and brought only stuff for one night. If you have heavy bags - make sure they meet you by the pier - it is quite far to walk with heavy luggage.
