Phulin hotel is a new one, 3-4 years ago only. The junior suite is nice with living room and bedroom, shared restroom in the middle. Staff is great and service-minded. Walking 7-8 mins to the Karon beach, not bad.

This was a great hotel: the rooms led straight out to the pool and were very large. The bathroom had a bath (great bonus) when mosthotels in Thailand have a small shower only. Restaurant on site a little expensive though, and fellow guest was accused of stealing soap (all cleared up though and apology given). The location is a bit of a walk to the beach, but there is a free shuttle provided by the hotel. All in all a beautiful hotel with some minor hiccups!

not a well managed hotel with young staff who are not well trained and appear uninterested in customers.restaurant is very bad with surly staff and bad service/food

Just a little way out from the beach area, in a quiet side road. Breakfast could be a problem if everybody wanted meals at the same time due to low number of tables,but i give the staff credit in trying to overcome this problem.While i was there people waited around for tables to come available.De-luxe room was large,but air -con was not too good so i went to a local shop and purchased a mini fan and that made it much better. One downside was i had to keep asking for soap,not sure why considering how much soap would cost the hotel.

Value for money. Big rooms, where accomodation for three was no problem. Only neagtive must be that there was only two of everything in the kitchen - and this was not fixed, despite our requests. The live music in the restaurant/bar was at times disturbing (why does it have to be so loud?).

Service provided by the hotel staff was excellent. We had some hipcups on the 1st day that we arrived and we were supposed to make our way to one of the shops located near the airport to collect some stuff (which is really out of the way fr Karon beach). One of the stuff actually assisted to help us do the collection after her work shift as its along the way home.

It was tricky to find the hotel.The cabby didnt know the way there and had to ask around.When we reach the hotel,it was a nice surprise.In a location not too far away from the beach ,near the mountains.Nice breeze.Got A studio rooms for two nites.The room was mega-fantastic and for the price i paid,it was definately worthy.Ordered food thru room service and it was excellent.small swimming pool,but heck ,nobody swims at pools when u got the Andaman sea within walking distance.For lost souls,tell the cabby or tuktuk to make a left turn at the 1st roundabout at Karon beach.Then go straight ..
