The bungalows are run-down and in desperate need to renovation. The lobby and restaurant are renovated and reasonably nice. For this price, I expected (and have previously had, in Phuket) a MUCH nicer cabin. Overall, disappointed with the hotel although Langkawi is nice.

Very attractive location within walking distance of cable car. Nice mature gardens and pool area. Clean beach with fine white sand. Rooms consisted of one or two roomed chalets. Our two roomed chalet was OK with A/C, hot shower and cable TV. Everything worked but the bathroom, especially the shower area needed some renovation. We were generally happy with the place and thought it was reasonable value for money. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Decent resort. Much less crowded than the Berjaya next door. Resort food is underwhelming though.

Bungalows are clean but should be upgraded (new paint, new doors, ...)
Excellent food buffets.
