The hotel is excellent though not too close to the beach. The beach area could do with an upgrade making it less crowded

We were really impressed with the Manathai hotel. The hotel had a beautiful boutique feel about it, the photos on the net do not actually do it justice. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The location was excellent - right across from beautiful surin beach, and the beach club was great. We stayed at 2 other (more expensive) resorts during our 10 days in Phuket and Manathai was our favourite of the 3, despite being the best value by far. Our only negative comment on out stay here is that although our room was nice and well done, it was a little small and poky - perhaps stay in one of the larger rooms here.

fantatsic hotel - very modern asian look and feel. Only issue would be that our provate pool was right next to the workers bathroom so we always had workmen looking over the fence in to the pool! also felt that the restaurant was way too expensive compared to the surrounding restaurant options - and were disappointed that there were very few thai dishes on the menu. breakfast was fantastic. happy hour drink that were advertised in our room did not happen and we were charged full price.small complaints though as beautiful hotel.
