I found the staff quite hospitable, and the service was most acceptable. The location was fine and easew of travel by rail to various parts of the city. I would certainly stay there again.

Room was a bit shabby - window did not close correctly, and curtains torn, but was clean and bed good.

I would not stay in this hotel again, I stayed in hotels in Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore on this trip. The Lion hotel had the highest room charge by far, double that of the other Hotels but had the worst service and standard. I would recommend the staff travel to Thailand to discover true customer service and should understand their business needs good customer service.
