Great location, within the vicinity of Orchard Rd. Quaint boutique hotel with lots of seafood restaurants, good transportation choices.

The hotel is definitely one i would recommend for its price. Its located at a 10 minute walk from Outram MRT station and a bus stop is right opposite to the hotel. However this is considering that you would be using the awesome singapore public transport system. If using cabs, its not the best located hotel in singapore. The rooms are nice looking but fairly small in size, but then again this was the only 3 star i stayed in during my trip.

The hotel location is good as lots of local eateries within working distance. There is a shuttle bus service to Orchard while access to public transport is good as well. It would be a great hotel if you prefer local fare and tranquility.

Front Desk service is not good at all. Some of the service staff should wear a smile when they serve customer (especially a particular staff called Jennifer Toh).
When called from my room to ask for a better time to settle my bill (as i could see a huge group of tourists were checking in the hotel just before i went back to my room), the service staff could not or is not willing to even give me a gauge of when I should approach the reception. The reply was, "Not sure - we are experiencing high occupancy rate now. Tourists are coming in anytime." I was merely trying to find a time when the staff is less busy so that i can settle my bill. Not a good way to retain customer.

The rooms are very small. Do not take kids to this hotel, as this hotel is not set up for kids in any way, no baby cots, baby chairs, etc

New hotel - pleasure to stay at. Really appreciated the new furnishings, and excellent service, and taxi service.

rooms are a bit small...it can be a problem for people expecting european standard...service is great though...lobby & room service is very experienced. (had my steak and club sandwich around 3.30 pm...yummy)
