A lovely extremely comfortable resort, well designed, friendly staff. Gardens and pool kept in pristine condition.. Location is good if you want to relax and like it quiet. Plenty of restaurants easily accessible.

The hotel was clean, in good conditions and with excellent staff. There is a road with heavy traffic between the hotel and the beach. The beach is not in use and you have to go with boat to one of the islands to get to a beach. And it is nothing there, no shops, no entertainment and the taxi o AoNang or town is expensive.

It was quite a bitter experience to confront the reality with the fantastic description of the hotel and the area on the hotel´s own website. We cancelled our stay after 5 days otherwise we would have got a nervous breakdown instead of a dream holiday in a peaceful area. I felt cheated by words like: paradise, for peace-loving people, great food, reasonable prices etc...Nothing was true.
1. the hotel and the hotel´s restaurant are situated directly on a very busy road with a very heavy truck traffic
2. it has not been mentioned anywhere that because of the Muslim minority (or maybe majority) we will be woken up every single day at 5 in the morning by a screaming voice from the minaret; it is really unheard of to get terrorised in such a way.
3. it is apparently a three-star hotel - there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room and no cupboards; just 4 coathangers, one shelf and one, very small drawer. And all this for two people with luggage for three weeks. We could not even unpack our suitcase and lived practically from the bags.
4. the beach right in front of the hotel cannot really be called a beach. It is narrow, pretty dirty and LOUD, with all the trucks passing by every two or three minutes;
the other parts of the beach are much wider but you can hear the trucks all the time. I do not call that a paradise.
5. the food in all possible restaurants (we checked all of them) was pretty bad and very expensive. It was our 4th stay in Thailand so I know exactly what Thai food tastes like and how much average meals cost.
All in all a horrible experience which cost us nerves and a lot of money.
