This hotel is set on a fantastic stretch of beach, it is in a very quiet location. The staff are all very helpful and pleasant. The rooms and facilities are excellent. The food quality is especially good, with plenty of choice from european styles to traditional thai.

Nice hotel but not many things to do in the evening. Pools a little to small. Very nice location directly on the beach. Good food.

Fantastic Hotel in an amazing location for honeymooners. Rooms are great (we had beach view) The service is excellent and so freiendly. The food is great (a little pricey) and there are soo many pools that you never feel overcrowded.

Katathani Resort is a fantastic beach resort, with a perfect location. The resort grounds and facilities were 5-star all the way - only to be exceeded by the world-class staff. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and expert in their service to us. Absolutely every aspect of our stay at the Katathani was perfect - thank you a million times over for making our vacation so special.

Excellent service. We spent 8 days of our honeymoon their and they traeted us very special. The value for the money was great. I would stay there again.
The staff was attentative and friendly. The food was presented well and of good quality. the beach and pools were emaculate and easy accessible. the only trick was aking up early enough to place pool towels on pool chairs to reserve them.

Katathani is a nice resort, great pools and beach access, nice grounds and well maintained rooms. i have stayed in the Thani wing which is facing the beach, and for me is preferable than the bhuri wing which is tucked away a litte, although the buri wing has newer accomidation.Kata itslef is a little on the quieter side when compared to patong which is better for me, the beach is great for swiming and also preferable to patong. Although there are cheaper hotels. overall the price is fair for what you get in return.

Had a great holiday staying at the Katathani. Hotel is located in a quieter area and is directly on the beachfront. Beautiful grounds and pools. Service and staff also excellent.

As a family of 5 we have stayed here twice. on both occassions we have found the facilities are excellent, the service is friendly and prompt. Its beachfront location is second to none and despite its 5 star rating the value for money factor is by far one of the best qualities in this resort. We will be returning, I Highly recommend it.

the hotel and staff are lovely and they go out of their way to help. fabulous range of facilities and restaurants as well as kiddies play area and activities.
unfortunately the quality of the bathrooms and housekeeping were very poor. there was slime and fungus in the shower cubicle and the flooring appeared to be a temporary measure. the turn down service every evening never took place and neither did the little estras like rinsing of cups and emptying of bins etc...considering the cost of the room ...the extras should have been looked into. if not for the bad bath...the resort is great...perhaps the standards are better in the thani wing which is newer.
