Katathani was a haven away from the hussel and bussel of Patong. I booked everything on-line and all obligations of the package were met. The service was fantastic and I cannot fault this hotel in any way. I probably would have liked the Kids Club to be a bit bigger and closer to the beach, however, there were different activities happening daily and the kids had a great time there.

The hotel was all that was advertized and MORE. We had a great time here. Good place for familys with kids to visit. I had stayed at LaMerridian last year and personally I liked this resort better even if La Merridian is rated higher. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The beach was amazing. The only negetive was the price of food and drinks on the resort. However, you can easily walk on the beach or go across the street from the resort for a drink and a meal at a fraction of the cost. We will defiently be coming back. Highly recommended.

Rated as 5*, and clearly not! Chipped tiles, poor finishing, faulty TV sets, noisy AirCon. The Food is HUGELY over-priced for the area, and the Frnch restaurant is paritularly poor (although the piano player was fun). Will not be returning to Phuketm and suggest you check your Star ratings. We ONLY stay in 5* resorts, and was very disappointed with this resort. We tried to complain, but were laughed off by the receptionist,
