I will add my name to the good review list for Kata Country House. Checked into Kata Country House at 2:00 am and our key and room info were waiting for us. Initial Bungalow was too close to the street (car noise) and asked to move - no problem. Polite staff and a new bottle of water (free of charge) every day. Pool area was geared more for adults and teens. Nice well-kept grounds with plenty of flora and fauna, additionally, individual porches with most rooms to relax and wind down at. Good location and Kata area is the best for families. The two northern beaches had more "adult" areas then I liked.

The Kata Country House provides excellent value for money. The staff was very helpful, we loved the bungalow, and the location is very good - a 10 minute walk to the beach. We would do it again.

good clean rooms, nice staff, but bar / resterurant closed at 11.00pm much to early for last drink at the bar.

The place looked ok, but we only stayed one night due to a strong odor from an adjacent property.

The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a buffet, which sets you up nicely for the day. The location of the hotel is only a short walk from the centre of Kata - just far enough away not to be noisy.

really nice and peaceful garden, although need around 8-10mins walk to the beach, kata beach is wonderful
