It was expensive at the hotel. The persons who worked there was very friendly! The location of the hotel was not the best, it was close to beach but the beach was not in its best condition.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right on Kamala Beach and 3 minutes walk into Kamala town which is really cute and I think much nicer than Patong, Bangtao or Karon. The only big issue is that they have green netting up around the pool, in front of the beach, around the restaurant in effect blocking out the views from ground level, which was ok with me but my fiancee was very upset about it. We were told that this is in place until the high-season sept/oct. Rooms were ok, though quite old in design and the shower leaked all over the floor. Style is almost identical to Best Western Bangtao Beach, however would prefer Kamala of the two.

Reception staff are sometimes helpful, sometimes a bit stiff. Housekeeping staff were excellent. The beach in front of this hotel is in excellent condition, with good quality sand.

Very good hotel, clean, comfortable big rooms with nice balconies and great view into the hotel garden. Hotel got very good location just by the sea shore, but unfortunately when we stayed there, in second half of May 2008, waves were too big and we could swim only in the swimming pool.

the hotel is quite old and there is a construction behind the hotel. should not be any be any problem as the noise is minor. their service is very good. but there is not much choice for breakfast. or should i say, everyday is the same food. the foods for room service takes very long to collect.

Very bad rooms, mould in every room we tried (5 rooms). The tsunami filled the Hotel with water except the top floor. You can smell the mould in pillows, beds and every there in the room. When asked for different room the staff just run the A/C o low temp och spray anti odour. We stayed two nights because we had paid in advance but we will never stay there again. The pool area and the restaurant is good.

Keep receipts for laundry or they try and charge you when you leave for paid laundry services.

If you can tolerate a hotel that "nickle and dimes" you to death, this place is not bad. The beach and two pools are great, but the day it rained they wanted 3 dollars to borrow an umbrella. The 10 dollar buffet breakfast is not included in the price as it is almost everywhere else in Thailand.

When we arrived the air-conditioning in our room was not working. It took some time to organise the staff to fix it. There was very low pressure for the water in our shower.
