Our stay at the Manhattan was pleasant until our departure. The price is good for the location, and the staff is generally helpful. However, upon departure, the staff would not call us a metered taxi, but insisted upon us using their over-priced hotel taxi. This was after our advance request had been given to receive a metered taxi upon departure. Though this left a bad taste in our mouth, the stay at Manhattan was otherwise fine.

A nice and clean hotel, conveniently located to all the major attractions in Bangkok. However the air-conditioning temperature setting device in the room was not working. The buffet breakfast was good and the hotel had a nice ambience. It was definitely a good value for money.

Excellent location. Good Thai food available nearby. just 5 mins walk from the Skytrain. Excellent breakfast spread. They could do better with cable TV channels which are limited. Overall, a very nice place.

We were disappointed to be given a smoking room when we specifically requested non-smoking. We also thought the rooms and passages looked worn and the carpets needed a thorough clean. This was in contrast with our past experience.
The staff were pleasant and attentive.
