The stay was pleasant with nice scenery and clean. However, it would be better if the owner would provide simple breakfast as a value-add, other guesthouse at the same price provides breakfast. We would also appreciate if the owners are more flexible with late checkouts. During our stay, we were suppose to check out at 11am, if we check out at 2pm, they told us there would be a surcharge of a full day price. In 5 stars hotel, when they have vacancies, checking out at 2pm without surcharge is a norm. We were shocked by the fact that we have to check out on the spot and were told that any later, there would be a surcharge of half day price, it did not seem that there were people checking in at that time. Taxi to airport and day trips were also charged at ridiculously high price, whereas we could have gotten better deals off the street. Bargains were strongly declined. If the above were improved, it would have been a much better stay.

The gardens of this hotel were lovely, however almost everything else was not. The hotel was situated on a very busy and noisy main road. The beach was a 20 minute walk away (not 5 minutes as stated) along a busy street with no footpaths. The rooms were very basic consisting of a hard mattress on a concrete base, a very old wardrobe, a fridge, an old table with 2 metal chairs, and 2 old bedside tables. We had an old and damaged air-con unit. There was a wet room with a shower and toilet. On a positive note, the rooms were cleaned well each day, and fresh towels were provided, the bedlinen was changed every two or three days.
The final straw was checkout was 11am (not 12am as stated on website) so we were assured there would be facilities to change before our departure. However, these facilities turned out to be a wet and dirty hole in the floor toilet ... totally unsuitable. All in all, a never to be repeated experience. There was plenty of cheaper and definitely far superior accommodation available in resort.

Rooms were ok. Quiet at night, AC on rooms. Cleaned every day. Nice to sit outside on veranda each night. Near Karon center and 3 mins of walking to beach. Im very happy with my stay.

Hotel may not look like much from the outside but the rooms are clean and have what you need when you are spendig your days on the beach which is only a short 5 minute walk away. The best feature is the friendly and accomodating staff. The manager is outgoing and assists with any needs.

They lack a television in the room which i guess is a must for those who like to stay longer and stay tuned with the world outside the island.

Hotel or the bungalows were ok. Not fancy, but ok. There were no tv, but rooms cleaned up every day. The Garden was beatiful. The location good, only about 6-7 minutes to the beach. Near the hotel were bank, minimarket etc.
