It was an excellent room. It was like a suite with a wooden flloor, nice big TVs, and modern looking funiture. There was a bug in a bathroom which made me wonder about the cleaness of the room.

The hotel (Grand Sukhumvit By Sofitel, Bangkok) staff arranged taxi service for me from hotel to airport and told me is cost 350 - 400 baht even I know is expensive but the worst the taxi driver asked for 500 Baht when reached airport. I have his taxi plate no S4605 and receipt in hand. The issue is not the money. It is the way; the Thai likes to treat their guests?

The hotel rooms were very nice. Courteous staff. Everything was preplanned and foreseen by the hotel. Would have been better if couple of plates and bowls were placed in the room. And little more care in refilling the coffee, suga, milk powder sachets in the room. Experience was very very good. Will prefer to stay there on next visit for sure.
