The hotel lobby is fresh renovated and so the rooms should be. But they are not, they are shoddy and many years old. There is a difference between the pictures of the rooms on their website and the reality.

The Grand Inn is a nice, small, friendly hotel in a good downtown location. Closer to the airport than other locations and still downtown. The basic Deluxe Room was adequate and nice with some classic charm to it. The standard Bangkok traffic sound outside might be a little loud outside the window but with the air conditioner on it is blocked out.

Altough Grand Inn is a small hotel, but service and facility is superb.
The most of all is located at the busiest district in Bangkok, Sukhumvit area.

The hotel is in a great location right near sukhumvit road and many bars and nightlife. The lobby is very nice and modern and you get a breakfast in the morning. I think the rooms could use a renovation, they are clean but a little tired looking. However, i think they were in the process of renovating the rooms actually. In terms of value and location i would stay again for sure.
