Careful of the shower hoses, its wear off and not replace and could prick your hands and you should shower before midnight or you don;t get a hot bath. air con are not controllable and towels are kind of likes it very old.

There was so much noise because of working construction from 8-16 and I was in hotel also for relax and work

We very much enjoyed our stay at the First Hotel in Bangkok. We only spent one night there on our way back from Puhket and on our way back home to Shanghai, but we wished we could have stayed longer. The superior twin was roomy and comfortable and I think great value for a city hotel. However after spending 2 weeks in Puhket we were surprised with the price of Singha beer in the hotel bar - over 2 times the price of that in Puhket! So after wandering to the local market we picked up some bottles from the 7/11 just across the road. Anyway we would definately stay again.

Dont expect to be staying at the Royal Palace. The foyer is very average. The carpet in most of the rooms were not clean. Our safe and television did not work and toilet did not flush and when we had our showers at the end of the day they were always cold and very, very weak. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff were always trying to help and were always polite and had a smile.
