Excellent heritage hotel. The standard of our suite exceeded our expectations, although being directly above the bar, it was a bit noisy at night. The one negative comment is that we found the service a bit patchy, especially when ordering drinks/food from the bar, when orders took a very long time or seem to have been forgotten altogether. Since the hotel was nowhere near full, this was disappointing.

THIS IS A WONDERFUL HOTEL FROM A BYGONE AGE. THE SERVICE IS VERY GOOD & THE FOOD IS EXCEPTIONAL. IT IS ALSO WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF MANY OLD BUILDINGS & AREAS OF INTEREST

This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. On a parr with Raffles in Singapore.

Fantastic hotel, clean, friendly staff. Only negative thing was if you are not a great fish eater then they restaurants dont have many decent alternatives. I did always manage to make do with something but would of liked more choice.
