excellent location. needs significant financial input. no investment for at least 20 years. rooms with great views at beach front but in very bad decorative condition. pool good service ok but quality of food awful. If you want away from it all and cheap then ok but would never stay there again

Expensive, only for tourists that dont expect real Thailand. Big differense between the atmospheres at iland v/s kamala for example.

Me and my family felt very welcome. We had a lovely stay at Coral island resort. The personal was happy, friendly and very serviceminded (especially Roth)

We found the Resort area to be clean and well maintained and enjoyed a relaxing three days, with good snorkelling and food and a wonderful view from our beachfront bungalow. However, the part of the beach where the day trippers go was very badly maintained with rubbish left lying everywhere. This gives a very bad impression not only for the day trippers but for the resort guests when they arrive at the island. We were also sad to see how much of the coral has been destroyed and hope some effort is being made to conserve the coral that is still alive.

Hotel Service was very good,More authentic Thai food should be offered on the
Buffet.Management staff at Chalong bay who orginise transfers should be more helpful when asked where to get bus to Phuket, instead of trying to make taxi drivers more money.

A lot of tourists during daytime and queit and calm evenings. A good combination! (Maybee some more eveningactivities, at least young people would appreciate that!) Nice initiative from the hotel to offer the guests free coffee and snacksin the afternoon!

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful area, the people are reat, not on the mainland but close enough if want to go visit for the day. Peaceful and tranquil, snorkeling is fantastic, scuba diving lessons, plenty to do or just lay around the beach. Will definately go back.

Nice location, super-friendly serviceminded staff. Made us feel at home from the second we arrived. Only downside is the staffs lack of english-skills......, but we managed anyway. :)

Absolutely perfect place to stay and relax, very quiet and beautiful. The beach is awesome, staff is very attentive and helpfull. A bit of refurbishment maybe needed but all in all it is a really nice place to stay. Will surely use it again.
