hotel is near Metro, very convenient. rooms are clean and fairly new after renovation a few years back. good breakfast spread. staff helpful.

3. Restaurant a loittle disappointing. Food generally not up to the standard expected from a 3 star hotel. bufeet lunch overpriced. Breakfast adequate. but food bland and very unimaginative. A la carte menu a little limited in its range.
4. Swimming pool and other services very good
5. Internet a little pricey @ 250 Baht per hour.

Super value for money. Well located and everything you could expect for the price. No hesitation in staying there again. Close enough to transport and the best most diverse breakfast of all the hotels/resorts we stayed over 3 weeks. Highly recommend The Classic Place.

As I had a very early return flight home, I booked an extra night at the hotel so I could check out late. (22.00hrs) which I did. I checked out at that time but when I arrived at the airport, my flight for 02.00hrs had been delayed for several hours. I decided to return to the hotel lounge, rather than spend a long wait at the airport, which is about 30 minutes drive (when there is no traffic, at that time of night). The duty manager kindly allowed me to use my room again, although it had been cleaned in the meantime. This allowed me to take a shower and a short nap, before returning to the airport. This considerably reduced my disappointment at the flight delay.
Earlier in the week, my business colleague had arrived a day later and had pre-booked 2 nights at another hotel. Classic Place staff were able to allow him to make an reservation and he was able to move to this hotel for the remainder of his stay.
We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we make a further business trip to Bangkok later this year.
