Cleanliness is key to hotel stay and Cititel Penang offers such a service especially for short stays, with the convenience of its location in the heart of town and the availability of amenities within walking distance.

We had been given our preferred room facing the sea with a king-sized bed. Friendly staff and check-in was a less hassle.

The last time I in Penang was 1980. The town has certainly changed quite a bit over the twenty eight years, same but different. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the hawker food was as good as I remember and the service was excellent, just a lovely experience. I wiill be bringing my family with me on my next visit, hopefully in the not to distant future. I have always called Penang my second home after spending three years working there back in the seventies and am proud to say it still holds a special place in my heart.

the hotel served its purpose. the room was clean and the bed very comfortable, which was our main priority since my husband and I were sick for the duration of our stay. hence major down side being the poor selection of TV channels, not even a decent news channel like bbc world / cnn. nevertheless we would stay there again, because the bed was really comfy!

Room too small. Bare room amenities and of low quality - tv is small for 21st century and limited channels! Good location, fairly good view of the bay.
