The layout of the hotel was spread out with 2 pools and one more on its way. Some construction going on nearby. Decor is very modern with a black & white theme in the lobby. Rooms were nicely decorated but on the small side and no bathtubs. Location is within 5 mins walk to Karon Beach with lots of shops in the front. Not as much shopping here. It would be better in Patong. Overall, Karon is a great place for rest and relaxation away from the bustle in busier areas of Phuket.

Nice hotel, nice big rooms, 5 min walking to beach, good breakfast, good pool(could have been a little cooler). Expensive to use hotel restaurants, good little town, but Kata is better for a evening strol.....Centara KATA has a better layout and better room rate, seems more cozy ...so far! they are expanding. Wouls stay again at both hotels. Exellent service with asia web, whom called me and the hotel to confirm my reservation.

We had problem with our power tripping all the time. The maintenance department kept coming and re setting the breaker (I could have done that) without finding the root cause of the problem. I fault finded the problem and told them the electric hot water system was faulty causing the problem. Their solution after the 8th time was to put a larger circuit breaker in!!!
The pool pump at our part of the hotel must have been u/s and the had this portable pool pump which had its suction exactly where it was putting the water back into the pool. therefore re filtering the same water over and over. My wife and I both ended up at the docters with infections and the pool became quite merky.
The staff were always freindly and polite.
The rooms we had at the lagoon were excellent and spacious.
The resort is quite nice and has the potential to be a fantastic hotel, however is not there yet.
Would I recommend this hotel to travellers? Probably not.

The Lotus restaurant service staff were rude and unhelpful. I had brought this to the attention of the General Manager of the hotel

great & fast inroom service. the food we ordered tastes great!!
the breakfast was very good too. I love the hotel and would definitely stay there again. Hope the standard remains.
