The hotel facilities is poor as the pool is too small, the restaurant is not impressive at all. Breakfast is bad with only 3 choices. Location is also not convenient.

Our trip was spoilt when our money is stolen from the safety box. The safety box was still locked when we found out that our money was stolen. Obviously this was done by the hotel staffs who have access to the key. How could we trust this hotel again? We will never come back to Buri Tara and will ask our friends and family not to stay in Buri Tara ever.

The near beach location, as descibed on the web site, was the major factor in choosing this hotel. However on arrival we discovered it was a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach and a 10 minute walk to Ao Nang Beach.
The location of this hotel should be corrected on the web site, as at present it is very misleading!
However this hotel is excellent value for money.

the hotel gave wrong information and the rooms were very costly. i booked the deluxe sea facing room which was the costliest, and the room info given was wrong. the sea could not be seen from the room. also in the map it was shown that it is almost on the beach. but the beach was quite far off.

Our stay was pleasant. Our daughter really enjoyed the pool access room. Feel like a family run hotel, not too big. Free dinner was good, it was beyond our expectations! Breakfast was standard.

As I read the advertisement "max 3 adults per room without extra bed. Children max 1 if no bed required max 11 years." I take this to mean no charge for child if no extra bed required. I rented a deluxe room and took my 6 year old along and was charged 400B per night extra for him with no extra bed. I fail to see this rule in the advertising

The room a little under par for the price. Every little sound carried from the adjacent rooms. The pool and the pool lounge area were too small and therefore not a plus, either. The people that worked at this hotel were very nice and helpful, though.

Lovely place to stay and good location away from the busy main drag of Ao Nang.

This is such a shocker and totally put Thailand as "land of smiles" to disgrace. Staff were not exactly friendly to begin with. We asked for seaview room, but were given a view of an "electrical box". Breakfast was allright, I did not mind that. But overall, this hotel needs a lot of improvement.
