The construction next door was a little annoying, as it usually went from about 7am to 8pm, but we were warned in advance. Otherwise, the accommodations were great. The beach is cleaner and nicer than places to the north. The service is impeccable. Great breakfast. Great pool. A great place to stay on Samui.

We had a wonderful stay at Buri Rasa. We have not yet seen a better place to stay at Chaweng. The staff is very friendly and serviceminded. Rooms are spacious and cozy. The rooms are also tied up twice a day. Wireless internet in the whole area and two computers for guests in a secluded area in the lobby. The beacharea is by far the best on the whole chaweng. There are no resort on either left or righthand side, so the beach are more quiet and "private". We find Buri Rasa to be the best place we have ever visited in Thailand, so we highly recomend this resort.

Buri Rasa is a truly WONDERFUL small hotel. For those who prefer to stay away from the herds of noisy tourists this is the perfect choice. Staff friendliness must be particularly praised.

we were the first time in The Buri Rasa Hotel and we were very surprised.
Everything was absolut perfect and we had a wonderful stay there. When we
come back to Samui we will definetly choose this hotel!!!

2 years ago it was very quiet. but this year it was noisy,not for the construction next the hotel,but about the music at the bar and the restaurant day and night

Were told upon arrival that there would be building at 9am but EVERY morning much muxh earlier heavy-duty, ear-piercing construction would begin with VERY VERY VERY loud voxtex drilling into the earth right next to our room. The construction was so heavy that the wall of our villa cracked for the noise and vibration.
Our dip pool had lights which did not work so after we got back to our villa at night (when construction was over) the pool was useless to us because it was pitch black. Furthermore, the jets in the pool did not work so it was just cold, flat water- with no lights. Hotel staff were alerted to this but did not fix it until the morning we were to check-out.
Very slippery, unsafe stairs from carparl to entrance caused falls and a back injury.
Hotel staff agreed that the noise was unbearable and that the room and pool were in an unacceptable state however not even a partial refund was issued, despite numerous requests, and full price was paid for very poor conditions
