A fabulous hotel with superb rooms and very friendly staff. The best breakfast in Cambodia and an ideal location for all the sights. Shame about the view of the river being obscured by the ongoing flood barrier work. Excellent start and end to our Cambodia experience. Thanks

We had stayed here two years ago and enjoyed our stay. This year I booked a room, paying the 100% deposit as required, and foung that the room was small and overlooked a roof-top. We paid additional money for the river view, which was a muc bigger room. The room looked nice, but was just awful!!! Thw water heater worked for short periods of time, the bathroom door had a push button lock which activated when it hit the door locking us out of the bathroom, my wife was unable to lock the door because it required "lifting and turning the lock at the same time". For the $ 100US we paid, a much better hotel was available, but the required 100% deposit made it "ÿour problem not ours" to quote the staff. Additionally, in the heat of Cambodia, it was impossible to leav the a/c on while out of the room , so we wre greeted with an unbearbly hot room when we retuned after a day of seeing the sights

no lift available, excellent breakfast, old fashioned decoration of rooms and division of suites not to Western standard
