Excellent location close to everything, the beach, good restaurants - and the vibrating night life! Yet amazingly calm, with a lush poolside garden and restaurant with a good and rich breakfast included even in the modest room rate of the Capricorn wing (an older hotel added later, I suppose). Staff abundant and friendly, cleaning staff even over-eager at times. The inexpensive rooms rather spartan but with efficient air-co, fridge and tv plus a private little patio for those unwilling to join the elderly, predominantly German speaking crowd populating the pool area with an annoying tendency to monopolise the sunbeds for the entire day. Overall the Austrian and German air of the place might seem a bit odd but then it is, after all, owned by an Austrian and thus caters for their taste, also in the restaurant where greasy steaks, sauerkraut and strudels dominate the menus with Weissbier flowing by the barrel. But the surroundings are absolutely stunning and the location and relative calm absolutely unbeatable.
