My husband and I were looking for a relaxing/stress free vacation and could not have chosen a better hotel on Samui - incredible staff and wonderful accomodations and services - we actually never left the resort to eat in 7 days, wonderful variety of food and peaceful oceanside location to dine.

All though we booked several months in advance we were moved from one room to another in the middle of the stay without any explanation. The second room was full of ants, which the hotel management was well aware of before hand. In spite of several complaints the problem with the ants was not solved during our stay.
Safety deposit boxes were not handled in satisfactory way, since keys to both locks for the box was handed to the guest for him to safeguard and one key was clearly marked with the number of the safe box

Stayed in Baan Talay from 1st Nov till 4th Nov. Beautiful villa setup, right at the beach and good size swimming pool. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Went during low season so not many people around enjoyed the facilities. Bathrooms / Shower area is a bit old, could do with a touch up. Location was perfect, close enough to all the action, yet far away from all the madness.

staff were great.Not all understood english.Grounds and rooms clean. Fairly run down .Rusty framework and facades need repair. restaurant needs a paint.MATTRESSES ARE ROCK HARD.Had a relaxing low key stay good for kids as it had a family friendly atmosphere and access to pool and beach is the best.

Decent hotel, in the quieter southern end of chaweng. Its layout is charming around the nice pool. If you book a special offer it can be good value for money, otherwise a bit pricey.

For me cleanliness is very important. The room are simple and very clean. The price is low. Im satisfied with everything except for the breakfast, it could have been better. I dont eat pork and there is pork on the menu everyday. Overall, i like the resort very much.
