was nice hotel, but for families with babies, not ideal as high tide and muddy, rocky beaches make for hard travelling with pram. though sunrises nice. also on check out, very disorganised so allow more time and suddenly credit cards not accepted! so needed to root around for spare cash - very disconcerting as rely heavily on plastic. food bit exp. next door diamond view cave great for food and families. also book transfers from and to airport yourself - plenty avail and for the high price we expected great service but was poor - almost missed check in time at airport, crowded van and boat.

overall impression of hotel and resort was good: quiet, friendly, airy.
points to mention:
-getting there by high tide is a pain, especially with luggage like trolleys.
- the bathroom was very nicely done and gives a spa-ish atmosphere.
- the rooms were good and clean. [personal comment: colour of the bedsheets and towels are contradicting the overall asian style]
- lots of flies at breakfast area due to lots of sugary coating on the tables. maybe staff should wipe tables more often and/or thoroughly.

They tried to pass off a room with no windows as a seaview room to us... we got upgraded after we complained. The staff were not very friendly, avoiding eye contact with most of the guest and not very smiley, which is unusual for Thailand. The room did not even have a bathtub, which was a problem as we were not able to wash our diving gear properly. I am not likely to book this hotel again.

The pool is smaller than it looks on the website pictures, but other than that, we had an overall positive stay.

ok hotel. one major problem though. very very loud bar/nightclub next to hotel. if you like listening to ealry rave music, guns and roses and/or The Police unitl 4 in the morning whilst lying in bed this is the place for you. Even with ear phones in i could feel the bass through my pillow. This is not an exageration - it was unbelievable. I am not some old fizzer either, i do enjoy the odd party, but this was beyond a joke. Not quite the relaxing paradise i had been expecting.

this hotel is located in an ugly smelly sespool.surrounded by rubbish and sewage. no staff to help you when you arrive.small pool. crap bar .crap food.description on internet is far from true.completely overpriced.

Was not very impressed. Considering we stayed in wonderful 4-5 star resort in Ko Samui for a little bit more money and came to this place which resembled a 2 star resort(i use the word resort very loosely).
The only positive was that the staff where accommodating when we where about to leave prematurely from a eight day stay and gave us a room upgrade.
I would avoid staying on the east end of Railay, its dirty and it smells, nothing appealing about it. The rest of Railay is very scenic however very expensive.
