We stayed at Akwa for 5 nights and loved it! All staff were friendly & helpful, we really felt at home. Great position, we stayed in the deluxe room which was huge! Highly recommend. The breakfasts served in the restaurant were great as was the thai food. Loved the whole experience!! Would definately return.

This was the best place I stayed in in Thailand to date. The service was amazing ,it was like having a home away from home.
I would definitely recommend to others.

Very friendly staff, lovely bar.
Good breakfast, good food.
Room very unsecure. Cannot lock window. Window accessible by roof. Roof has several access points. Felt very unsecure leaving valuables in room. In room safe inoperable, no instructions given.

For the price, you would expect a very nice guesthouse, and although it has been painted to look nice, the sheets were very smelly, and the bathroom had tonnes of hair all over it, without a ventalation system.....the 2 owners were VERY friendly and efficient, but the price for that style guesthouse was too much for the price. It was like being on Khao San Road, but paying over 1000 baht. You could hear EVERY noise from other guests rooms and the hall......you can get better for the price.

Truely an exceptional but unique place burgers and shakes to die for. detail to finishing is second to none. we stayed in the AKWA Penthouse truely an exceptional piece of art on roof of building steep staircase so not for faint hearted. overall you must be nuts to pass up the offers on this hotel details to finishes are un real. Staff etc could not be nore helpful at all and literally 20 seconds to beach will return one day for longer keep up the good work!!!!
